The first time I drove a car was frightening, even more because it was a manual
transmission car. My brother drove the car first to show me how to do so and
gave me a brief explanation about putting in gears. When I sat on the pilot seat,
I was sweating and nervous. After we started the car and put in
first gear, the car shook and turned off because I pulled off the clutch pedal
too fast; however, I succeeded on my second attempt; I was feeling confident. My
brother got me to put in second gear and move forward. I hesitated too much
while doing a turn on a corner and rolled up the steering wheel all the way to
the right making the car go into a sidewalk which ended up making
the front right wheel burst . I was
totally scared! ; Nonetheless, my brother helped me replacing the wheel
and drove the way back home. That day, I learned that it is not good to rush
when learning something new and that one has to be focused on the road all
the time while driving.
