                            My Eleven-year-old-dog, Osa , stands out in a crowd of dogs because of her distinctive appearance and friendly face. The first thing one notices when looking at her is her brown and black hair, for it is shiny and very characteristic of her breed, German shepherd. Also remarkable are her pointy ears and keen nose full of sharp teeth; however,  when one sees into her small brown eyes  , one can be sure that she is not a dangerous dog ; nonetheless, it is a very protective  one. Her strong barking, snarl and ready to attack posture are a very intimidating sign that would scare anyone. Despite her age, eleven years old, she is quite active and full of energy; running, jumping, pursuing cats, playing with a Frisbee are not big deal for her; she performs like a youngster, still. Osa's friendly and frisky attitude makes her the ideal dog to socialize with other dogs and humans, even little kids and puppies. Osa is unexpectedly sensitive and caring. When I am angry or sad, she comes close to me and puts her paw on my knee or nuzzles on my hand to make me feel better; obedience is another of her characteristics. From nose to tail, she is contradiction; despite her dangerous and guard dog look, she is loving and heartwarming, which makes her stand out of other pets, at least on my eyes.
